EastEnders is set for a jam-packed week of action as secrets are exposed and new storylines begin to take shape across Albert Square – including one major paternity bombshell
EastEnders is gearing up for a massive week of secrets and revelations as fresh plots unfold across Albert Square.
The week begins with an aura of mystery surrounding Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) as her secret is exposed to Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer).
This prompts Sharon to try and come clean to those involved, but circumstances prevent her from spilling the beans. But what exactly is she concealing?
After her unsuccessful attempt to confess, Sharon confides in her brother Zack Hudson (James Farrar) about her secret, but they’re not alone – their private chat has been overheard.
It soon emerges that Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman) is the covert listener. In an effort to shield his sister, Zack assures Sharon he’ll find a way to prevent Barney from blowing her cover, but another revelation is quickly uncovered.

At Harry’s Barn, Zack confronts Barney, but their discussion takes a twist when Barney starts bleeding from the injury he got during the explosion at The Queen Vic. Zack joins his ex-lover Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) and Teddy (Roland Manookian) at the hospital where doctors are treating Barney, reports Plymouth Live.
However, confusion arises when a conversation about blood types raises doubts about Barney’s parentage. Not wasting any time in seeking the truth, Zack confronts Nicola who confesses that he is Barney’s biological father.
A distraught Zack heads back to Walford to drink away his troubles. His day takes a further nosedive after receiving a call from former fiancée Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty). Will the secrets of Sharon and Nicola be unveiled to the rest of the Mitchell family?
Meanwhile, a distressed Bianca finds it hard to face the world outside and continues to feel trapped. She’s comforted by George Knight (Colin Salmon) who reassures her that she’s not to blame for the incident at The Queen Vic.
Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) extends her support and Bianca starts to share her traumatic experience. As the week progresses, The Knights try to help Bianca confront her fears.
Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) fetches her some food from Beales Eels, only to have a group start an argument with him. Bianca must overcome her fears to stand up for Kojo, but will she make any headway?
In other news, Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) comes back home and immediately impresses his parents Kat and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) with his kind act towards a friend in need.
However, when Tommy persistently asks to chat with his friend online, Kat risks an argument when she’s forced to confess she disposed of his computer console. Later in the week, Tommy loses his temper but will he lash out again?
Elsewhere, Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) feels sidelined by the Slaters as they mourn for Martin (James Bye), leading him to confide in Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth).
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and available to stream on BBC iPlayer from 6am
