Gogglebox star confirms pregnancy as fans left gushing ‘how precious’

A Gogglebox star has confirmed she is pregnant with her second child as she shared a heartfelt update on Instagram

A cherished Gogglebox favourite has announced her pregnancy whilst sharing an update before welcoming her new arrival.

Helena Worthington became part of the Channel 4 programme in 2017 during series 10, appearing alongside the rest of the Worthington clan: her mother Alison and Alison’s other half George. The family quickly won over viewers with their charm.

Throughout the years, the Manchester-based household has left audiences in fits of laughter with their witty remarks and amusing commentary on television’s biggest moments.

Beyond the show, talented artist Helena shares her life with partner Dan. She’s already a devoted mother to six year old Irwin and regularly keeps followers informed about her daily adventures.

Recently, Helena announced her pregnancy whilst reflecting on expanding her family. Posting to Instagram, Helena uploaded multiple photographs from a recent outing, reports the Mirror.

In her caption, she wrote: “Pregnant. Tired. Raging indigestion. Still crouching down to explain why we don’t dig up all the bullbs. 33 weeks pregnant at RHS Bridgwater with my first baby, while waiting for my next one.

“We took Erwin here often when he was a new bean. These in-between moments feel really precious lately – messy, slow, and very real. I’m excited but I feel weird that Erwin will seem so big all of a sudden.”

Helena’s announcement delighted supporters, with many admitting they hadn’t realised she was expecting. Flooding the comments section, one follower exclaimed: “Omgosh many congratulations! ! How precious.”

Another fan joined in, exclaiming: “Ahhhh huge congratulations!” Gogglebox co-star Ellie Warner also expressed her joy with three heart emojis.

Away from Gogglebox, Helena is a talented artist based at Islington Mill, specialising in sculpture and painting.

Her artwork has graced esteemed venues such as The Whitworth Art Gallery and The Manchester Open at Home, with her paintings becoming part of various private collections.

In an honest conversation with ilovemanchester.com, Helena delved into her personal life. Reflecting on the origins of her artistic journey, she revealed: “When I was very little I used to draw on the walls and in my mum’s cook books and then blame it on my brother… so I guess that was the start of things.”
