Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne have split and are currently living apart, but are determined to co-parent their children Ella, nine, Mia, six, and Dan’s son Teddy, 11, from a previous relationship
EastEnders’ star Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne have called it quits. Reports suggest that Jacqueline, 32, is staying put in their family home with the kids, while Dan has packed up and moved to a place nearby.
Dan reportedly moved out just last week, only a few months after the pair were left gobsmacked by rumours of a split. Earlier this year in January, the couple, who’ve had their fair share of relationship gossip, denied they’d broken up.
“Jacqueline and Dan are dealing with things behind closed doors, opting to keep their personal lives and relationship away from prying eyes,” read a statement. It continued: “They respectfully ask for privacy as they work through this together. Their children remain their number one priority, receiving love and care from both parents – a fact that will never change. Above all else, Jacqueline and Dan have the best interests of each other and their children at heart. No further comment will be made.”
A source close to the duo revealed: “Jacqueline and Dan are taking a break and spending some time apart. Things haven’t been easy for them recently and they’ve made this tough choice.”
They added that neither Jacqueline nor Dan can predict what the future holds, but their break was “necessary.”, reports the Mirror.
A source told The Sun, revealing that the couple are keeping things “amicable” as they navigate their relationship woes. They also made it clear that there’s no scandal behind their decision, just personal matters between them.
“Jac and Dan have been rocked by their fair share of scandals but this situation could not be further from that,” the insider claimed
Last Easter, eagle-eyed fans noticed Dan was MIA from Jacqueline’s social media celebrations, and her wedding ring was conspicuously absent. However, insiders quashed the rumours, insisting the pair were “happier than ever” and Dan was just tied up with commitments during the festive period.
Soap star Jacqueline, known for her role as Lauren Branning in EastEnders, and reality TV personality Dan, who rose to fame on The Only Way Is Essex, tied the knot in 2017 at a swanky Cheshire manor house. They’re doting parents to daughters Ella, nine, and Mia, six, while Dan also has son Tommy, 11, from a previous relationship.
Earlier this year, the family’s abode hit the property market, fuelling speculation as reports emerged of Dan snapping up a new pad in his name close by. Last year, Jacqueline gave fans a glimpse into their union, setting the record straight amid rumours of Dan’s infidelity and another potential split.
Last year, Jacqueline gave us a sneak peek into her love life with a heartfelt tribute. She posted some adorable pics with her hubby and wrote: “Just realised I haven’t even posted on the grid about Daniel’s bday or our anniversary and I just wanted to do a little appreciation post for my bestest friend in the world. Over 10 years and 7 of them married. Love you more than ever. Crazy little world isn’t it. Also it’s crazy how little photos we take now. Need more! !”.
Dan and Jacqueline have had their fair share of ups and downs since 2015, when whispers of Dan’s cheeky antics with a famous model hit the headlines. More rumours followed over the years, including gossip about him and ex-Love Islander Gabby Allen.
Despite the drama, Jacqueline has stood firm, saying they’ve tackled their problems head-on.
