Clarkson’s Farm star Jeremy Clarkson has opened up about his health battles and issued given some insight into his latest ailment, which might leave many fans concerned
Jeremy Clarkson fell very ill while he was filming Clarkson’s Farm.
The fourth series of the hugely popular reality show recently wrapped and Jeremy has admitted that he became “more and more ill” while the cameras were rolling.
He spoke to The Sun and said: “You can see me becoming more and more ill as the days go on because I just lose my sense of humour, my ability to stay calm.”
“I get in a proper old panic. I didn’t know at the time. I knew I wasn’t being me. Because if you don’t sleep, it very quickly has an effect.”
Clarkson also wrote his own column for The Times and touched upon his health issues, including an emergency heart surgery for his blocked arteries which meant he required a stent insertion.
“I have a trapped nerve in my back at the moment. It’s fine if I’m not doing anything, but in the G 580, not doing anything is impossible because it pitches and yaws and rolls all the time, and you never have any idea what it’s going to do next.”
“So you can’t ever brace yourself.”
Clarkson previously had a health scare back in 2017 when he was on holiday in Majorca, where he came down with a rough case of pneumonia.
TV fans will know Jeremy from his time on Top Gear alongside James May and Richard Hammond.
The presenting trio often took the mickey out of each other but Clarkson previously burst the bubble by admitting they were putting on a show while filming.
“We were caricatures on those car shows. James was not as boring as we made him out to be, Hammond was not as stupid, I was not as bombastic.”
