Rapper Kanye West has taken to X/Twitter to confess that he previously performed a sexual act on his cousin after they “looked at dirty magazines together” when they were kids
Kanye West has claimed he had a past incestuous relationship with his cousin.
The controversial rapper’s upcoming song Cousins will reportedly detail what happened between them. Kanye took to X/Twitter to share a message to his followers about his new project.
He wrote: “This song is called COUSINS about my cousin that’s locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn’t ‘look at dirty magazines together’ anymore.”
West said that he felt responsible for engaging in the act with his family member and did not identify them.
Kanye continued: “Perhaps in my self-centred mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw.”
“My dad had Playboy magazines but the magazines I found in the top of my mom’s closet were different,” he wrote before signing off with a message claiming he performed a sex act on his teen relative.
Along with the tweet, Kanye posted a video clip which is assumed to be a sound bite from the upcoming song. The clip showed image of cars driving, a man walking down stairs, a German shepherd dog, a group of people playing spin the bottle and a TV screen showing a racing car game.
West recently left fans and critics alike completely speechless after giving an interview wearing a black KKK hood.
For a chat with internet personality DJ Akademiks, Kanye sported a Klu Klux Klan hood along with a black leather outfit. He claimed the look had been custom made for him and appeared to acknowledge how controversial the outfit was.
When asked whether he’d worn it out in public, Kanye admitted that he’d wanted to wear it but feared he would be “put in hospital for his outfit”.
Social media was ablaze after the video was released and furious X/Twitter users gathered to fume over his offensive costume. One person scathed: “This dude needs to just go away.”
Another person said: “I would’ve ended the interview right there, an absolute clown.” A third angry critic wrote: “Oh look…someone wants attention again.”
“That’s enough Mr West, please no more today,” begged another person.
