Kanye West has exposed a series of alarming text messages that seem to depict a heated argument with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. It follows her discovery that their daughter North features on his new track with the scandal-ridden rapper Diddy.

Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, is currently incarcerated and facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution.

He’s also dealing with numerous allegations in various lawsuits from women who accuse him of sexual assault.

Despite being denied bail and remaining behind bars, the hip hop titan features on Kanye West’s latest single LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE, alongside his son Christian ‘King’ Combs and Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s 11-year-old daughter North.

The song begins with what seems to be audio from a phone call between Diddy and Kanye, where the imprisoned star expresses gratitude to Kanye for reaching out to his children ‘when nobody else has.’ Later in the track, North delivers the line “When you see me shining, then you see the light” among others.

Kim Kardashian’s irate reaction to North’s involvement has been unveiled in leaked texts that Kanye posted and subsequently deleted overnight.

The messages show the couple embroiled in conflict as Kanye warns his ex that he will ignite a war “they will never recover from” if she fails to comply with his demands, reports the Mirror.

In the leaked messages, Kanye tells Kim: “I’m never speaking with you again,” alongside an image of what seems to be a legal document containing the phrase: “participation in this project,” likely referring to the Diddy song.

Kim counters that she alone has the rights to use North West’s name: “I asked u at the time if I can trademark her name. You said “yes'”, and adds: “When she’s 18 it goes to her.” She then instructs Kanye,”Stop” and “I sent paper work over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song To protect her.”

Kim continues: “One person has to trademark!

“We agreed when they were born i would get all of our kids names and trademarks So no would else would take them.” Kanye retorts, “Amend it or I’m going to war And neither of us will recover from the public fallout.”

He then warns her: “You’re going to have to kill me.” Insiders reveal that North recently spent time in the studio with Kanye where she recorded her vocals for the track.

Upon discovering about the track, sources allege Kardashian dispatched cease-and-desist letters to Kanye in an attempt to halt the release. The mum reportedly contacted ‘everyone she could’ to try and prevent it, with Kanye unveiling the track on his social media on Saturday night.

As part of their divorce agreement, Kim and Kanye share joint legal and physical custody of their four children, with Kim serving as the primary caregiver. Kanye was ordered to pay $200,000 per month in child support.

It has emerged that Kanye West is set to relaunch his Sunday Service choir, with a requirement that has raised eyebrows – young boys as young as five may be asked to shave their heads if they are selected to join. The 47-year-old rapper is recruiting male singers for the gospel choir, which he initially launched in 2019. In a post on Instagram, he announced: “Sunday service the next frontier is recruiting male choir members.

“Those selected are required to shave their heads. Shaved heads are not required to audition.”

The audition location is in Los Angeles and will be given upon RSVP. Open auditions will be held on Thursday, March 13, at 4pm.

“Auditions are open to ages five and up.” Initially, the Sunday Service choir was registered as a 501(c)(3) organisation, which encompasses groups that are “religious, educational, charitable, scientific, literary, testing for public safety, fostering national or international amateur sports competition, or prevention of cruelty to children or animals organisations”.

However, according to the IRS website, the group lost its tax-exempt status in May last year due to failure to submit a Form 990-series return or notice for three consecutive years. When Kanye first introduced Sunday Service, the gospel choir performed alongside the Grammy winner every weekend, but has faced criticism this year for his controversial social media outbursts, which have been labelled misogynistic and antisemitic.

Their debut public performance was at the Coachella festival in 2019, and they’ve worked with Pastor Joel Osteen, who welcomed Kanye to the Lakewood Church, Houston, in November of the same year. However, Kanye encountered legal troubles with some members and staff of his Sunday Service – who lodged class action lawsuits against the rapper in 2020 for alleged mistreatment.

At that time, over 500 performers and roughly 300 crew members accused the performer-turned-fashion designer of violating California work laws by underpaying them and denying them food and restroom breaks. Among the accusers was Sunday Service performer Michael Pearson, who claimed he received a flat day rate of $250 without any permitted breaks.

He also alleged that performers were made to stand all day or sit on the floor, and had to walk home when no transport was provided. It was reported in June that Kanye settled with the hundreds of Sunday Service performers and staff for $1.35 million, although they were seeking more than $10.5 million in damages.
