EXCLUSIVE: Love Island beauty Samantha Kenny has lifted the lid on what really goes on behind-the-scenes during the ITV villa’s non-filming day – including takeaways and bed swapping
The Love Island cast are made to swap beds one day a week – according to a past contestant.
Love Island’s Samantha Kenny starred on the show last year and revealed they were made to bed hop during the show’s non-filming day. Samantha told us: “We have a down day once a week and we get a takeaway like McDonald’s and we do face masks and hair masks in.
“We are separate from the boys and the girls have to share a bed. There is a producer inside the villa, so we can’t chat properly about any gossip, so that’s why we’re split up. But that happens every week!”
Samantha spoke exclusively to Daily Star at Shein’s VIP O Beach party as she sported a cream two-piece bikini and a brown cover up from the online retailer.
Love Island has been getting pretty steamy this week with Harrison and Lauren going all the way in the main bedroom.
Samantha urged ITV to “bring them back” as she talked steamy villa scenes, which were cut out of the show in recent years. She added: “Those first couple of seasons were the best when it was wild. With the smoking and stuff they used to show as well, I used to say ‘Give me a ciggy and a coffee in the morning around that firepit and I’ll give you the juiciest gossip ever’.”
The makeup artist also revealed she often got in trouble with producers on the show as she stole her co-stars’ booze due to the strict two-drink limit.
She confessed: “I downed mine so I got a little buzz, the first couple of days I used to rob everyone’s drink and I would swap it and grab theirs and drink theirs. They would tell me off from above and be like ‘Samantha!’. They even threatened me with a drinking ban as well – but luckily I never got one.”
Samantha was also recently snapped looking gorgeous at Shein’s VIP event at Chi Kee Wun in Ibiza as she wore a beige two-piece sequin outfit. Fans can find her look online here.
