Love Island star Hannah Elizabeth has been rushed to hospital for last-minute surgery.

She reached the final of Love Island back in 2015 and returned for the All Stars version of the ITV dating show last year. The reality star has also become a successful Only Fans creator, having collaborated with the likes of Katie Price and fellow Love Island star Megan Barton-Hanson.

However, Hannah has had to step away from her work commitments and posting on social media as she’s fallen ill. She’s gone into hospital for an operation and has had to stay there for a few days.

She took to Instagram on Wednesday (March 26) to tell fans: “I am in hospital atm for a few days. Had last minute surgery today as not been well. Just wanting to let brands know as I have not been able to work or post or respond to messages.

The blonde bombshell added: “Hate to let down but soon as I’m on the mend I can get back to work.” The TV star didn’t share any more details about her health battle but did follow up with a snap of a pot of tea.

Hannah admitted that she’d managed to sink a whopping 10 pots of tea during her stay. She was still in good spirits as she posted laughing emojis in the caption of the snap, which read: “Lit drank 10 pots of tea no joke.”

The mum has opened up about her time on the show, revealing she found the All Stars series harder than the 2015 series, where she got engaged to her ex Jon Clark. She told Daily Star: “You know what, it was like completely different because you know obviously I did it nine years ago and series one, we were kind of like the guinea pig series.

“This time it was just like everything about it was different. The rules are a lot stricter. The whole house… I mean obviously it was a different villa, but everything was on a much bigger scale! And the rules and stuff were a lot stricter this time round, I absolutely loved my experience, it was just a lot harder this time with the rules and stuff.

She continued: “I think in terms of series one, we had a lot more freedom like with drinking and stuff like that.” When asked if she thought the show was overly produced she added: “It is a lot more produced. But I wouldn’t say it’s like overly overly produced but compared to my series it definitely was in terms of like the conversations and stuff. They’re like have to be centred around love and what everyone is doing in the villa.”

“But when we did it in series one, it was kind of like throw them all in the house and see what happens. But obviously, now they do know what they want out of the show, you know.”

She admitted she had her eye on eventual-winner Casey O’Gorman, who won the show with Gabby, before she went in. However, it wasn’t to be as Casey only entered the villa on the day that she left.

“They actually put Casey in as well, the day I left and I thought he was gorg! But I didn’t even get to… they didn’t put him in when I was in there! But yeah it was that kind of cheeky chappy I wanted in there. But they just didn’t put them in there for me.”

Asked if she thinks something could have developed if she was in at the same time as Casey, Hannah said: “Do you know what, maybe. But I just thought ‘oh he’s gorg’ do you know what I mean? And the thing is we both said, why didn’t they put us in together.”

Hannah was engaged to George Andreetti in March 2018, but the pair split a week before she gave birth to their son. Reggie is now five years old.
