Ladies of London is returning to screens after eight years away.

The show, which aired on Bravo in the US and streams on Hayu in the UK, followed a group of women based in London. They were a mix of businesswoman and socialites, with some British and others expats.

It first aired in 2014 and ran for three seasons until 2017. The first season featured iconic model Caprice Bourret, who has also launched her own lingerie line in the past.

Fans had been begging for the show’s return since it last aired. And now, Bravo has confirmed it will be back with a brand new set of ladies.

“As tradition clashes with the fast-paced globalised world, these power players redefine what it means to be a woman of status in one of the most iconic cities in the world.

“Here connections are currency and the crown isn’t the only thing up for grabs.”

Reality television fans will be excited to know that the Ladies of London re-boot is a separate show to The Real Housewives of London.

The show, which is the third Real Housewives franchise to launch in the UK after Cheshire and Jersey, is the first original series from streaming service Hayu.

There have been numerous rumours about famous faces joining the cast since it was announced, but there is yet to be any official confirmation.

Ladies of London followed a similar format to the Real Housewives, however there was often a big focus on the cultural differences between the British members of the cast and their American co-stars.

Caroline Stanbury, who appeared in all three seasons, was one of the fan-favourites. She was engrained in British society, and had a short-term relationship with Prince Andrew.

More recently, she returned to reality television on The Real Housewives of Dubai, where she lives with her hunky younger husband, footballer Sergio Carrallo.

Sadly, the show was also surrounded by some heartbreak.

In 2014, cast member Noelle Reno’s then-boyfriend Scot Young died after falling from the window of a luxury apartment. At the time, he was in the middle of a high-profile £22.5million divorce from his ex-wife Michelle.

Following Scot’s death, Noelle did not return for the second season.

Later, after the show finished airing, cast member and model Annabelle Neilson, who was the muse of fashion designer Alexander McQueen, died in 2018.
