Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright have delighted fans as they share adorable pictures of their newborn daughter Palma as they celebrate their first Mother’s Day as parents
Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright have melted hearts across the nation with adorable Mother’s Day snaps of their new daughter, Palma Elizabeth.
Little Palma was dressed in a cute white outfit with her name on the back, as she was cradled by her grandmother. In Michelle’s latest instagram post, a carousel of snaps including a close up of her “Palma” necklace, she wrote: “Such a special day from start to finish. Happy Mothers Day.”
It was a particularly poignant day for Michelle, celebrating her first Mother’s Day as a mum, with Carol captioning another photo: “What a day with all my love in the world. Xx.”
The couple has been private about their little one since her arrival, but this sneak peek into their lives had fans cooing in the comments section. One fan exclaimed: “Love this,” while another added: “Blessed. What a lucky little girl she is to have two parents like Michelle and Mark.”
Since becoming a mum, the 37 year old Brassic actress has kept a low profile, only sharing snippets here and there. She recently posted a shot of a pram during a meal out, and Mark shared a picture of the couple’s cosy evening spent whipping up lasagne at home.
The pair have been seen out occasionally, with Michelle’s mum, Jackie Anne Thornton often joining them.
Michelle, beaming with joy, was spotted wheeling a chic light brown buggy, totally enamoured with her bundle of joy.
Mark posted a pic of his grub – noodles, veggies, and nachos – cheekily captioned: “Carbing up for the night feeds” alongside a baby bottle emoji.
Michelle, meanwhile, treated herself to a sushi feast, tucking into artfully presented sashimi and crisp salads. “Waited a long time for you,” she captioned, hinting at the no-go on raw fish during pregnancy.
Adding a dash of humour, she also shared a snap of a baby bottle, quipping: “Used to be a lychee martini.”
On Heart FM, Mark got real about becoming a dad in a heartfelt chat with his co-host Olly Murs. “I know you’re a private guy,” Olly kicked off: “But this has been such a huge moment for you and Michelle. How are you feeling?”.
Choked up, Mark replied: “Mate, it’s hard to even put into words. This is the biggest achievement of my life – it’s all I think about.”
He continued to heap praise on Michelle, dubbing her “a superhero” for delivering Palma. “It makes you appreciate what our mums did for us even more. The strength women have – it’s incredible.”
“Every morning I wake up so excited just to see her face. That moment I held her for the first time… it gets me emotional just thinking about it. Everything else fades away, and you realize what truly matters in life.”
