New mum Pixie Lott delivers lots more music

Pixie Lott tells the Daily Star how welcoming her second child this year inspired a new wave of music for 2026. She unveiled a number of songs at a special festive London show and also teases plenty of new TV and film projects for the new year, plus her dream – a full length Christmas album.

PIXIE LOTT hasn’t just delivered a baby, she’s birthed a whole new LP.

The star wowed London’s Union Chapel this week with an intimate Christmas show celebrating new single First Christmas, dedicated to her new born son. And Pixie told the Daily Star she’s been busy, even while nine months pregnant: “I’ve got a whole bunch of new songs.

“I did some writing before I gave birth the second time. I want to put out more in the new year. It’s all kind of about life at the moment and what I’m experiencing, so a lot of parenthood stuff. I want to make all the music I’m writing as authentic as possible.”

She was joined by her childhood choir on stage in London and previewed a new track track, Albert dedicated to her other son, the first born two-year-old Albert so he doesn’t feel left out when he grows up.

She explained: “I wanted to make it fair, I also wrote a song for Berti. I’ve never sung it before but I am excited to test it out and give them both a song. It will be their songs forever.”

Seems domestic bliss is inspiring her music in general: “I’ve got another one called Good Wife which is brand new. This is all going into this new chapter of life, it’s a coming of age moment.”

It’s over 15 years since Pixie first topped the charts with Mama Do, but she’s relieved to be releasing records at her own pace these days rather than playing the pop game.

“I had albums before I’d been making for four years,” Pixie pondered. “By the time they come out you’re over it, onto the next thing. Now writing something and then releasing it while still being fresh is definitely special. I prefer doing that.”

In 2026 it won’t just be new music coming from Pixie, who is currently starring in festive flick Christmas Karma alongside Danny Dyer.

She spilled: “I love TV and film. I did a film this year that’ll be out next year, more of a thriller.

“And there’s some other projects in the works next year hasn’t been announced yet, but I’ll definitely be doing more TV and film.”

And after the success of First Christmas perhaps more festive tunes could tumble down our chimneys: “I’m really excited to have my own Christmas song, now I’d love to do a Christmas album one day.
