Pamela Anderson brushed shoulders with other A-listers in a plunging dress, having completely ditched her makeup to try and reconnect with her roots despite being snubbed at the BAFTAs
Pamela Anderson took to the BAFTA red carpet completely make-up free as she embraced her new natural lifestyle.
The Baywatch actress, 57, may have been snubbed for an award after her performance in drama The Last Showgirl, but she’s set to take to the stage to present an award to another celeb. Pamela stepped out at event, located at London’s Royal Festival Hall, in the afternoon (February 16) alongside other A-listers, such as Gwendoline Christie, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.
Pamela has yet again ditched the makeup for her latest event, which is being hosted by David Tennant for the second year running. Blonde bombshell Pamela also stunned in a low-cut white gown.
She donned a formfitting white gown that featured a draping material. Her slim figure was accentuated and she held her dress trail in her hand as she walked along the red carpet for photos. The actresses low neckline revealed her shoulders and chest.
Pamela’s hair was styled into its iconic blonde fashion, with volume added at the roots. She completed the look with a pair of white stilettos – but failed to wear any makeup.
Her natural look is not a new phenomenon, having debuted her bare face at Paris Fashion Week at the end of 2024. Looking comfortable at the BAFTAs, she smiled widely at the cameras.
Pamela previously spoke to Allure and admitted going make-up free was an attempt to reconnect with the old Pamela and separate herself from the Playboy and Baywatch image. “It wasn’t to make a political statement, I just wanted to have my little weird face sticking out of the top of those great clothes…why am I playing the game?
“And the funny thing was I would come back from the shows wearing all these clothes and a big funny hat and everything and there were all these paparazzi and then I went in one door and changed into my jeans and T-shirt and no makeup and walked out the door right through the same crowd that had been chasing me and no one noticed.”
While she has been snubbed at this year’s BAFTA Awards, Pamela has been nominated for a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild award for her role as a middle aged showgirl whose livelihood is under threat when the club she dances at is marked for closure. However, when the Academy Award nominations were announced on Thursday 23 January, and Pamela was yet again snubbed.
“I couldn’t even imagine that,” she told Elle Magazine about a possible Oscar nomination. “I always say the win is in the work. I got to do something I really love, and I needed to do that for my soul.”
