Victoria Beckham has shared a message about her family amidst a “feud” with son Brooklyn.

The former Spice Girl spent some quality time with her own parents, enjoying the sunny weather. She recently posted a sweet picture as she stood between her mum and dad and wrote: “Family weekends make me happy! Love you @jackie.adams.”

Tensions have reportedly escalated within the famous family after Brooklyn and his wife Nicola failed to attend David’s 50th birthday celebrations. Adding to the strain, Brooklyn did not publicly acknowledge Victoria’s birthday, David’s long-awaited knighthood or Father’s Day.

This week saw a shift when Brooklyn reached out to his family via social media for the first time. He posted a heartfelt message to his paternal grandmother Sandra, writing: “Happy birthday nanny xx love you so much,” reports the Mirror.

Last month it was reported that David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest son was in London at the same time as his father, but reportedly did not meet up with the football legend. An Instagram post showed Brooklyn enjoying a pint in a pub with bottles of his own-brand hot sauce on the table in front of him.

Fans recognised the distinctive light fittings and stark green walls in the background. One person said: “The picture was taken in London’s Wigmore pub, which is part of the Langham Hotel where the Beckhams have sometimes stayed.”

“The fact that Brooklyn was in the country and failed to see any of his family was heartbreaking. And not only that, but here he was posting about it.”

Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola, 30, had travelled to London for a joint photoshoot with Italian luxury fashion brand Moncler, which allegedly took place less than two miles from the Beckham family home in Holland Park.

Meanwhile, his father David was not far away, attending the Chelsea Flower show with the King that day – just three miles from the Wigmore.
