EXCLUSIVE: Victoria Beckham has been offered a huge money deal to feature on a popular TV show, as revealed by one of the judges – which could see her follow in the footsteps of her fellow Spice Firls
Victoria Beckham has been offered a big-money deal to appear on popular reality show RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. Producers are keen for the Spice Girl to be a guest judge on the hit reality show.
They have approached her management team multiple times in a bid to get her to sign up to do it. Show regular Michelle Visage told The Daily Star’s Ed Gleave: “We try to get Victoria Beckham to be a guest judge every year. We’d love her to be on the panel.”
Victoria’s bandmates Mel C, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Mel B have all made guest appearances on the show’s panel in the past and gone down a storm with fans. Bosses are convinced Victoria would be even more popular.
Michelle added: “Victoria is always going to be welcome on Drag Race. We know she’s a busy lady, but we’d love to have her on the panel.
“She can bring her hubby and her kids to the studio if she likes. She can bring who she wants!”
Victoria has already been a guest judge on Project Runway and American Idol in the past, but has yet to appear on Drag Race.
Each episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race features a celebrity guest judge, who joins the permanent lineup made up of RuPaul and Michelle Visage. Alan Carr and Graham Norton are just a few rotating judges who are also feature in several episodes.
Reflecting on her time as a judge, Michelle previously told Entertainment Weekly: “My job as a judge is to help these kids, and I treat them like they’re all my children.
“It’s my job as a judge to push them out of the comfort zone and show them — not me — that they can do more than they ever thought they could.”
According to a recent interview with RuPaul from Pink News, season seven of Drag Race UK is currently in the works. While much of it is kept a secret, it is known that the cast has officially been whittled down ready for filming. The US show is currently working on their 17th season.
Kyran Thrax won RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 6, making her the UK’s next drag superstar and the first queen to win a cash prize of £25,000. La Voix was the runner-up, while Charra Tea was voted Miss Congeniality by fellow contestants.
