The White Lotus fans were excited for the first episode of season three, but many viewers were stunned as the show began to hint at a disturbing storyline unfolding
The White Lotus fans can’t believe one shocking storyline in the new series.
Season three has started airing and excited fans are buzzing to get their fix, but after watching the first episode [16 February], grossed-out fans have a lot to say about the coming episodes. Patrick Schwarzenegger, who plays Saxon, flashes fans as he bends over with everything on full display in one wild scene.
However, despite a number of complaints about the naked moment Schwarzy’s derriere isn’t the only shocking scene so far. Fans are convinced that an incestuous storyline is being hinted at and many viewers took to social media to discuss the theory.
Season three follows a family on holiday in Thailand and the family were heard discussing their new home, which had just three bedrooms. Viewers figured out that this meant two of the siblings had to share – Piper agreed to bunk up with Lochlan, but Saxon insisted that it would be “weird”.
Instead, the two brothers shared a room and later scenes turned very weird. The siblings chatted about their sister Piper and whether she’d lost her virginity yet before the conversation turned to each other.
Saxon asked Lochlan what he’s into behind closed doors and the explicit discussion raised eyebrows among viewers, who took to X/Twitter to share their disgust. One person asked: “What in the incest is going on….”
Another said: “Not The White Lotus Season 3 having a incest storyline,” as a third wrote: “Just saw season 3 premiere of White Lotus. Is it just me or there’s an incest relationship going on between the brothers?”
Other fans of the show said they got “major incest vibes from the two brothers,” speculated that the siblings will end up “being the incest couple,” while someone else joked that the “undertones” were seriously “incest”.
The White Lotus’ writer and director Mike White previously told Time that the third series will be “much, much darker” than the previous two. He quipped that “the other seasons were a rehearsal for this one”.
