Aitch reveals sweet gesture to sister after I’m A Celeb fans were left in tears

Aitch made it to the final four on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and fans remember his sister Gracie stealing the show when she asked him if he could take her to Greggs

Aitch showed fans a sweet moment with his sister Gracie after leaving the jungle.

ITV viewers were emotional when the rapper reunited with his sisters Gracie and Hattie on I’m A Celeb. Gracie, who has Down Syndrome, stole the show when she was heard asking her older sibling: “If you get voted out of the jungle, can you take me to Greggs?”.

Aitch replied: “Of course I could! I’ll take you anywhere you want.” And he has now revealed he’s delivered on the promise.

He gave fans a glimpse into his life back home in Manchester, just weeks after his jungle adventure. They were seen having KFC at the luxurious Gold Coast hotel following his jungle departure, but now he’s finally been able to take her to Greggs.

On Thursday (December 18), Aitch took to Instagram and revealed that he and Gracie had paid a visit to the bakery chain. Alongside pictures with their goodies in his car, the music star said: “A promise is a promise… she finally got her Greggs.”

Aitch revealed how things could have been very different during his stint Down Under as he considered quitting the jungle half way through. Speaking following his eviction, the star told how he was “dying to do a runner” on a couple of occasions.

It’s because he struggled without any time to himself and the constant 24/7 nature of the show. He told The Mirror: “It’s weird because you want to go off and have your little moment to yourself. But then when you go and do that, you clock that there’s cameras around, and then you start tripping, thinking, ‘Oh, I don’t want to look like I’m having this alone moment for the camera.

“So then you’re turning around, going back to the camp, but you’re not ready to be surrounded by 12 people yet. So it gets a lot.”

He added: “The middle for me was the lowest part, because you’re stuck in a position where it’s like, ‘You’ve come too far to give up now, but there’s still ages to go.’

“At the start you can’t give up because you’re thinking, ‘I’ve only been here for five days. Sort your head out.’ And then at the end, you’re thinking, ‘Oh well, there’s only five days to go, so suck it up and go for it.’

“But in that middle point, you’re like, ‘Whoa, I’ve been here for ages, and I’ve still got to be here for ages’.”

Meanwhile, it’s since been announced that Aitch has had to cancel his upcoming Australia and New Zealand tour, citing “unforeseen circumstances”. He said in a statement, reported by Rolling Stone: “I’m really sorry to say I have to cancel my upcoming shows in NZ and Australia due to unforeseen circumstances.

“I know how many of you had plans around these dates and I hate letting you down. I’ll be back as soon as I can. Thank you for the love and understanding.”

The cancelled run was set to mark Aitch’s return to Australia in January, with his first headline shows in the country since 2022, scheduled in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Brisbane, presented by Secret Sounds and Triple J.
