Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton has been forced into a hair transformation at her own hands after salons closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The beauty was forced to cut out her own hair extensions because she couldn’t head to the salon to get a professional to do it.
The 40-year-old may want to think of taking up a new career after the UK’s lockdown eases off though, as her followers loved the results of her home haircut.
Taking to Instagram, Michelle shared her new look – a short bob with a fringe, much different from her usually long locks.
Posing in front of a mirror while wearing an off-the-shoulder navy blue top, Michelle gazed at the image before hitting the capture button.

She captioned the shot: “When you chop it all off ’cause you realise you can’t get to whom made my self esteem sit better for a while. I did it myself.”
Her 226,000 Instagram followers rushed to compliment the new look, leaving more than 1,900 likes and plenty of comments.
One commented: “This length really suits you.”
Another wrote: “Wow you look amazing – love the hair.”
A third said: “Looks gorgeous! I may do the same soon.”

And a fourth added: “You still look beautiful inside and out.”
Michelle and her family went into self-isolation after a neighbour recently tested positive for coronavirus.
She told fans: “We do not have any symptoms… kids, me and Hugh have been told to go about our normal daily life, unless we show symptoms.
“That’s the advice and what’s been explained to us from the authorities.
“However, for those at school out our children, we are keeping Faith and AJ and myself on ‘house isolation’ after much deliberation.”
