Noel Gallagher has spoken out on rumours he had a fling with Rihanna.
The Oasis rocker, who married publicist Sara MacDonald in 2011, simply claimed the speculation about himself and the Rude Boy songstress is “not true”.
Noel, 53, opened up about the rumours on Matt Morgan’s podcast.
Liam Gallagher’s brother said: “It’s not true. I wish it was. Good luck to her man.”
While Noel is married, Rihanna is thought to be dating rapper A$AP Rocky following her split from Hassan Jameel in January.

The rumours come as Noel revealed he’s battling tinnitus in one of his ears.
Tinnitus is the name for hearing noises that are not caused by an outside source.
The star admitted his hearing might need protecting from loud gigs now, due to the condition.
He explained to Daily Star: “It’s the one [ear] I stand in front of my guitar amp with. It’s pretty bad.

“I was going to bed one night and you know when you go into a bathroom when you put the light on a fan goes off?
“When you turn it off it takes a while for it to stop. One night the electric sound never stopped.”
Noel was tested by doctors as they confirmed tinnitus.

The star added: “It’s the sound of your brain – like a whistling kettle.”
Noel’s condition could mean the end of the Oasis reunion rumours but, despite his protestations, it turns out he wouldn’t mind some sort of catch-up with his former bandmates.
He added: “I have not seen [guitarist] Bonehead… I’d say within the last five years. I have not seen any of them.
“I have not seen [bassist] Guigsy since the day he left in 1998.
“It might be a laugh [to see them].”
