Piers Morgan took aim at Prince Andrew on today’s Good Morning Britain instalment.
The former newspaper editor’s comments come after he and Susanna discussed the fact that US prosecutors have demanded that Prince Andrew be handed over to give evidence for the FBI probe into the Duke’s paedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein.
The US Department of Justice bypassed Buckingham Palace with a “Mutual Legal Assistance” request to the Home Office – meaning Andrew, 60, could be forced to cooperate.
Piers said: “Prosecutors in the US have demanded that Britain allow Prince Andrew to be questioned over his links to billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

“Claims from one of Epstein’s victim’s, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, is Prince Andrew had sex with her three times, twice when she was underage.
“Reported earlier on the show, she made those claims in Florida, where of course the age of consent is 18, I’d like to clarify she was not below the age of consent in the locations that the incidents are alleged to have taken place.
“We’d also like to clarify that Prince Andrew, at the moment, is refusing to be accountable for any of his actions, and he should probably start to be accountable for his actions, pretty sharpish.”
Susanna added: “He also denies all the allegations.”
An unimpressed Morgan later swiped: “He’d have merit if he spoke to the FBI under oath.”
In January, the head of the ongoing criminal probe into Epstein and his enablers, US prosecutor Geoffrey Berman, claimed Andrew has refused to help an FBI investigation.
In an excoriating attack, he said: “It’s fair for people to know whether Prince Andrew has followed through with that public commitment.
“To date, Prince Andrew has provided zero cooperation.”

“By revealing their emotional scars, some for the very first time, the sisterhood of survivors intend to stop predators — and the American justice system — from silencing the next generation.”
The series is directed by Lisa Bryant, who has produced a range of true crime documentaries and produced by Joe Berlinger (Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes).
