The Brit, who won the 2009 Drivers’ Championship while racing for Brawn, and his model wife already have a son called Hendrix, born last July.

And the couple are now preparing for the arrival of a second child, with the 40-year-old announcing the news on social media.

Sharing the news on Twitter, Button wrote; “We’re having a girl!”

It was a share from his wife’s account, showing a snap of his wife in a white dress which showed off her baby bump.

“Congrats, Jenson and fat,” one said.

Andohter commented: “Congratulations – the best news.”

While a third made a cheeky motorsport joke about Button’s children.

“Almost enough for a full podium – congrats,” they said.

And a fourth added: “Another baby Button!”

A fifth made a big prediction about the F1 legend’s expected arrival, with: “Congratulations – first female world champion.”

With a sixth simply writing: “Brilliant news, Jenson.”

Button met his wife Ward, who was playboy Playmate of the Month for January 2015, five years ago before getting engaged in 2018.
