However, a petition created by Movieguide is trying to stop the film from hitting our screens.
Movieguide, a non-profit organisation that seeks Christian values to the entertainment industry, argue that the release of Habit would cause “confusion” and “mislead children” from the biblical Jesus.
The group also point out that the movie lacks the support of a distributor, which explains the reaosn behind the lack of release date.
The petition titled ‘Stop Hollywoods attack on Jesus’ has already attracted over 100,00 signatures.

“We need your help to stop it.

Elevated Films, who represent the American rights to Habit, has been slammed by One Million Moms for its “gender-bending” portrayal of Christ.
The petition said: “This is a repulsive display of corporate arrogance and complete contempt for the faith of Christians.
“You are denigrating Jesus.”
The petition read that the backing of the film deliberately insults “the faith of millions of Christians.”
“As a result of your actions, I’m letting you know that I do not plan to watch any of your films now nor in the future.
“I strongly urge you to immediately cancel all plans to release the movie Habit..”
