This Morning host Phillip Schofield gatecrashed today’s instalment of Good Morning Britain, leaving Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid lost for words.
At the time, the GMB hosts were discussing male hair dye, in a segment titled: “Are men who dye their hair vain?”
Ben and Susanna were joined by actor Richard Blackwood and X Factor’s Jake Quickenden on the show, debating the pros and cons of dyeing grey hair.
However, mid-conversation, Susanna was distracted by someone walking on to the set.
Ben exclaimed: “It’s the original silver fox!”

Wearing just a T-shirt, Phil looked as though he had recently arrived into the ITV studios, preparing to appear on This Morning in one hour’s time.
Even though he didn’t have a mic, the 60-year-old star was determined to join the conversation about embracing grey hair.
When Ben asked why Phil had decided against dyeing his hair, he replied: “I got bored, it’s expensive.”

Ben said: “You’ve embraced it and you own it.”
Bidding Phil farewell, Susanna labelled the This Morning star as “our very own silver fox”.
Clearly impressed by Phil’s barnet, Jake admitted he wouldn’t mind going grey if he could pull it off with the same confidence as Phil.

He said: “Phillip Schofield rocks a good head of grey hair. If I looked like that I might try and dye my hair tonight.”
Susanna consoled: “I think you would look just as good as Phillip Schofield with grey hair!”
Hinting at a transformation, Jake said: “I’m doing it just for you then.”
