Coleen's WAG pals 'checking whether Rebekah Vardy's account leaked more stories'

England football WAGs are reportedly teaming up to investigate whether their private stories have been leaked, following the WAgatha Christie scandal.

Last October, Coleen Rooney’s social media account accused Rebekah Vardy’s Instagram account of leaking private stories to the press.

Earlier this month, Rebekah, 38, launched a lawsuit against Coleen, 34, accusing Wayne Rooney’s wife of defamation.

Now, according to The Sun, several other WAGs are looking into whether their own personal stories have been shared without their consent.

According to the publication, Harry Maguire’s fiancée Fern Hawkins and Spurs footballer Dele Alli’s girlfriend Ruby Mae have raised concerns in a WhatsApp group.

A source claimed: “Some of the Wags, especially Fern and Ruby Mae, have said on WhatsApp they are worried about what might have come out, and whether it was anything to do with Becky or her associates.

“And women have been freaking out and ‘doing a Coleen’ — to see if the same thing has happened to them as happened to her.

“They have scrutinised past messages and stories and gone over things with a fine-tooth comb.

“Fern, in particular, has been worried since last October when the row first blew up and has been speaking of her fears recently.”

The source continued: “She was particularly concerned about stories about Harry’s move.

“Others also voiced their fears and a lot of girls started to distance themselves from Becky.

“It may all be slightly unfair on Becky, though, as no one has come up with a smoking gun.”

Daily Star Online has contacted Fern and Ruby Mae’s representatives for comment.

On October 9, Coleen shared a statement over Instagram, revealing someone had been leaking stories to the press behind her back.

Inspiring the infamous “WAgatha Christie” nickname, she did some detective work, saying: “To try and prove this, I came up with an idea.

“I blocked everyone from viewing my Instagram stories except one account (those on my private account must have been wondering why I haven’t had stories on there for a while.)”

Before finishing: “Now I know for certain which account / individual it’s come from. I have saved and screens hotted all the original stories which clearly show just one person has viewed them.

“It’s……… Rebekah Vardy’s account.”

Rebekah has continually denied the allegations, taking the scandal to the High Court in an effort to clear her name, with proceedings to go ahead next year.

Meanwhile, Vardy’s odds on appearing on Strictly this year have been cut, with Coral Bookmaker’s John Hill saying: “Rebekah Vardy could be the latest WAG to appear on Strictly this year as her odds have been slashed in the last 24 hours.

“Vardy might just need the dance floor to distract her from her on-going WAG war with Coleen Rooney and our latest betting suggests she is likely to be part of the cast in 2020.”
