Brad Pitt was forced to eat his own words several years ago, apologising after he was accused of calling his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston “boring”.
The former flames have recently rekindled their friendship, patching things up 15 years after their high-profile separation.
However, it took a 2011 apology from Brad, 56, to clear the air, after comments he made about their marriage were taken the wrong way.
He discussed their marriage in an interview with Parade Magazine, years after he fell head over heels for second wife Angelina Jolie.

Having been introduced by their agent, and making their relationship debut at the Emmys, Brad and Jen tied the knot in an intimate Malibu ceremony in 2000.
Reflecting on the years that followed, Brad said: “I started to get tired of spending my time sitting on the couch, a hand seal, in secret.
“It was getting pathetic. I think my marriage [to Jennifer Aniston] had something to do with it.”

That same year, he was forced to apologise over the remarks, insisting he hadn’t intended to suggest that Jen was “boring”.
Clarifying in an interview with Access Hollywood, he said: “I didn’t mean to say that Jen was boring”.
Singing Jen’s praises, he went on: “Jen is an incredibly generous, loving and hilarious woman and she remains my friend.

“I didn’t mean to say that Jen was boring, but that I was getting boring for myself, and that I was solely responsible for it.”
Brad and Jen sent fans into meltdown earlier this year when they were photographed catching up at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
With his marriage to Angelina ending last year, Jen is also single, following her 2017 split from actor Justin Theroux.
With Brad invited as a guest to Jennifer’s 50th birthday bash last year, the former couple have become friends in recent years, patching things up for good.
