The death of Chadwick Boseman shocked his army of fans and it has since emerged it came as a surprise blow to his colleagues.
Reports suggest that the Black Panther actor decided to keep his struggles to himself, only telling a close number of friends and relatives that he was suffering from cancer.
During his battle, Chadwick, 43, continued to work while undergoing chemotherapy treatment as well as multiple surgeries.
It’s claimed that his producing partner Logan Coles, agent Michael Greene and is trainer Addison Henderson were in on the secret about his deteriorating health.

The Hollywood Reporter states that they had “varying degrees of knowledge about the severity of the actor’s condition.”
However, nobody involved with the Black Panther film knew about his health issues, with Boseman deciding to keep his battles a private affair.
The outlet also claims that Kevin Feige, chief creative officer at Marvel received an “urgent” email from Chadwick’s management team about his health, but he had already died just one hour after the email was sent.

Feige opened the email shortly after Boseman’s death.
Speaking to the US tabloid, a source said: “[Chadwick] was convinced until about a week before his death that he was going to beat cancer and would be able to gain the weight back for a Black Panther sequel that was scheduled to go into production in March.
“The actor was even set to prepare for the new film beginning in September.”

Sources suggest that Disney bosses are currently processing the news of Chadwick’s shocking death and their “focus” is to pay tribute in a fitting way, rather than looking at a Black Panther sequel.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Chadwick’s co-star Clarke Peters broke down after admitting he thought the late actor was “precious”.
Chadwick passed away at his Los Angeles home on Friday, and he was surrounded by his wife and family.
His family announced the tragic news on his Twitter page, with the tweet breaking records as the most-liked Twitter post in history.
