Top Chef star Aaron Grissom has died aged 34, it has been reported.
The chef died on Tuesday after suffering “multiple blunt injuries” in a motorcycle accident, which occurred in the US state of Washington.
His death was ruled an accident by the Pierce County medical examiner.
Grissom appeared on season 12 of Top Chef in 2014, but was eliminated from the competition without making it to the final.
Running since 2006, the series sees established chefs cooking against one another as they complete a series of culinary challenges.

The gourmand also appeared on beloved Food Network series Diners Drive-Ins and Dives, discussing his cooking with host Guy Fieri.
Born in Tacoma, Grissom reportedly spent recent years travelling the globe as a chef, cooking for touring artists in the music industry.
He was said to have spent the lockdown period in Mexico with his girlfriend, only to recently return to Washington as restrictions began to lift.
Grissom’s colleague, Yu Nanakornphanom, opened up about his friend’s generosity, revealing the TV chef donated his kidney in his hour of need.
He told Tacoma News Tribune: “After we opened Moshi Moshi, we talked about it. ‘I have this condition, I don’t know how much I can take with the business.’.”
“Then we were joking around, and he said, ‘I can give you a kidney.’ We happened to be a match — we’re both Type O. It’s very rare to find Type O.”

Nanakornphanom added: “He had a lot going on.
“I think he had a good future ahead of him. He’s always learning to do something. He was driven. He lived his life fully.”
