Relationships are at the heart of this week’s Coronation Street spoilers, with everything from marriage proposals to traumatic breakups on the horizon.
Corrie spoilers have revealed Carla Connor (Alison King) and Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) will be forced to face up to the holes in their relationship, after he was accused of cheating with Abi Franklin (Sally Carman).
Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) will also see their romance hit an obstacle, as he keeps his estranged son’s identity a secret from her.
However, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) and Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) could see their marriage come back to life, after their separation earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) asks Grace Vickers (Kate Spencer) for her hand in marriage, only for the mother of his child to deliver a lethal blow.
Buckle up – below are some of the juiciest Corrie spoilers of the week.
Michael turns kidnapper
Michael vows to show Grace just how seriously he is taking their relationship, and splashes out on a dazzling engagement ring.
However, when he drops to one knee in the middle of the living room and pops the question, Grace is left shaken by the gesture.
Grace tells Michael she loves him, but confesses she plans to move to Spain with their daughter Tianna for a new life.
Later, Michael finds out Grace’s address and hurries to her house, where he abducts Tianna from the front garden .
Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) is horrified when a stricken Grace appears at the door and confesses Michael has kidnapped their daughter.
While she phones the police, he tracks Michael and Tianna down in Victoria gardens, where he gently urges his son to think straight.
Unfortunately, a copper suddenly appears and arrests him, as Michael explains he was driven to desperate measures at the thought of losing his little girl.
Later, Grace apologises for the heartache, and invites Michael to come to Spain with her for a fresh start under the sun.
Will Michael pack his bags, or is it curtains for their relationship?
Daniel has a brush with the law
Having realised Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) isn’t to blame for his stolen dosh, Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) sets his sights on Adam and Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) as he threatens to go to the police.
Later, he sees Nicky Wheatley (Kimberly Hart-Simpson) hand a wad of cash to Daniel in the cafe – insisting she doesn’t want it – and puts two and two together.
When Adam goes to the police station and digs up the CCTV footage from the day the money vanished, Daniel gets chills down his spine as he realises his number is up.
The police question Daniel and he gives in, confessing to snatching the envelope in a moment of panic.
When Geoff finds out the truth, he demands Daniel sees a stricter punishment, determined to get revenge.
Later, Daniel appears at Speed Daal and asks for Geoff’s bank details, as he reluctantly offers to pay back the cash.
Has Daniel made an enemy of Corrie villain Geoff?
Peter and Carla are torn apart
When Carla makes it clear she doesn’t believe Peter’s excuses, Abi leaps to his defence, only for the two to butt heads.
Later, Abi appears in Underworld and confides in Carla, revealing Peter is on the brink of a relapse but is potentially too ashamed to admit it.
Realising their relationship is on the rocks, Carla and Peter finally speak honestly with one another after months of avoiding the truth.
Accepting they no longer speak to one another about their problems, the two wonder whether it’s too late to turn the tide.
Is the sun setting on Carla and Peter’s grand romance?
Nick keeps a huge secret
Sarah lets the cat out of the bag, telling David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) that Nick has recently discovered he has a son with his ex-girlfriend.
David confronts him about it, urging the Underworld boss to reach out to his son, despite his reservations.
When Nick receives a letter from his son, Sam, he realises he wants to meet him and they arrange a reunion.
Thrilled to get to know the schoolboy, an enchanted Nick learns his son has a passion for astronomy.
Meanwhile, Leanne learns little Ollie’s treatment in Germany isn’t possible, as medics rules his case as too severe.
She breaks down and accuses the docs of abandoning Oliver, reaching out to Nick for comfort.
However, at the same time, he receives a text from his son Sam – keeping his existence a secret from Leanne.
Could Nick’s relationship with his son drive a wedge between himself and Leanne?
Sparks fly between Sarah and Adam
Sarah receives mail in Adam’s name, and calls to his office to deliver it.
While there, they realise the envelope contained a brochure for a swish holiday they had been planning – leading the two to feel weighed down with regret.
Later, Sarah returns to the office to make up, hoping they can put the past behind them.
Carla plays matchmaker and speaks to both Sarah and Adam individually, only to learn they secretly harbour feelings for one another.
Letting Sarah know Adam is still smitten by her, she suggests they get back together, repairing their marriage.
Sarah takes Carla’s advice on board and marches to Adam’s office, wearing her heart on her sleeve.
Will Adam take her back, or is it too late to fix their broken relationship?
