Archie Lyndhurst’s heartbroken friend and CBBC co-star Sophia Dall’Aglio has taken to social media to post a heartfelt tribute to the late star.
Archie was just 19 when she was found dead in non-suspicious circumstances at his family’s home in Fulham, London.
Sophia, who starred alongside Archie on So Awkward, posted a sweet snap of herself and Archie as she penned an open latter.
The emotional message read: “Dear Archie,
“It feels impossible for me to be writing this, I’m still waiting for you to call me and tell me it’s a horrible joke. How unfair that you should go and leave us here without you.

“You were one of the funniest, most aspirational people I’ve ever met, but also the cringiest and most irritating, and that’s precisely why I love you. I pray that I will always remember the sound of your voice, your laugh, your smile.
“I’m so thankful that I have nothing but happy memories of us to look back on.
“You were the light in the room, even on a bad day, and brought all of us together.

“It’s true, things won’t be the same without you, but while you were here you did nothing but your best to make people happy.”
Archie was the son of Only Fools and Horses legend Nicholas Lyndhurst.
Police and ambulance were called “to a report of a concern for welfare”on September 22 to the family home where Archie was declared dead at the scene.

Authorities are not actively investigating his death and have passed the file to a coroner in West London.
A statement posted to the official CBBC Instagram page read: “We’re so sorry to have to tell you that Archie Lyndhurst, who so brilliantly played Ollie in So Awkward, has very sadly died after a short illness.
“Archie will be missed very much by all of those who worked with him, and by all the fans who laughed along with Ollie in the show. Our thoughts and love go to his family and friends.
“If you’d like to leave a tribute to Archie, you can comment here, or there’ll be a page on the Newsround website where you can leave a message.”
