Robbie Williams and Shaun Ryder have recorded a song together after bonding over UFOs.
After a night of swapping encounter stories, the believers decided to hit the studio and have recorded a tune that they plan to release next year.
Rob said: “I saw bits of Shaun’s UFO show, I’ve spoke to Shaun about it.
“Shaun told me, ‘Right, it (UFO) was just by a tree in front of me. They come all the time Rob,’ he sees what he sees.”
The Rock DJ singer insisted the Happy Mondays star has always inspired his music too: “Me and him have done a song together.

“Quite often I try and channel Shaun Ryder when I’m writing songs.
“The song will emerge, plans change all the time, but hopefully some time in the Spring.”
And Shaun’s 2013 TV show, where he travelled the world in a bid to discover the truth about the extraterrestrial kind, has inspired Rob to launch his own UFO hunting series.

Speaking on The Adam Buxton podcast, Rob said: “It is thrilling to see those things, it will become God willing if I get to stay alive for another 25 years, a quest that I go on for a TV show or something like that, where I go and examine my own experiences.
“It may be mental illness or it may be that there’s something to it.
“What I do think, is this. I think something is up, that’s what I think, I think something’s up.
“I read everything to do with conspiracies, with UFOs, with Big Foot, with ghosts, with ghouls, with absolutely everything, folklore, myth… I don’t believe anything other than something is up.”

He admitted he doesn’t rule anything out and reckons anything could be possible, adding:
“What normal people – I say normal in inverted commas would probably discount – I go, ‘Maybe.’.”
Shaun has spoken passionately about his beliefs previously, insisting it’s impossible not to acknowledge other life forms.
He previously said: “We’re not the only life in the universe.
“We’re just not. It’s ridiculously impossible.
“If you look at the way kids are being taught now … when I was a kid at school, you was taught there was no life out there – that was it.
“But now kids are being taught there’s water, so where there’s water there will be life forms or whatever.
“So it’s not that I want to believe, that’s how it is.”
