Nigel Farage slams PM Johnson and BLM movement but celebrates Trump's 'courage'

Nigel Farage has slammed Prime Minister Boris Johnson and organisations such as Black Lives Matter while speaking highly of Donald Trump ‘s “courage”.

The controversial UK personality appeared on Good Morning Britain via video link from a Trump Hotel in the States, where he is covering the Presidential Race for a newspaper.

He was full of praise for Trump, saying: “I ask myself, what other leader has the guts and courage to stand up to Communist China?

“What other leader has the guts and courage to point out that Antifa and Black Lives Matter are actually movements not for racial equality, but for Marxism and the overthrow of our entire Capitalist system?”

He added: “Trump has guts, Trump has courage.”

Farage went on: “A victory for Trump isn’t just good for America, it’s good for the UK too. He’s the first President in 30 years who genuinely likes the UK.”

He also managed to slam Boris Johnson and his handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

“At least you know what the rules are in America – unlike Boris Johnson who’s brought in so much complexity and so many U-turns that he himself can’t explain what the rules are in different parts of the UK,” he said.

But viewers weren’t happy having Farage on their screens, taking to Twitter to share their views.

“Why is he even on our screens?” one asked.

Another said: “If you look up the word ‘deluded’ in a Dictionary, you will find a picture of Nigel Farage next to it.”

A third joked: “Nigel Farage was hard to hear with his nose so far up Donald Trump’s backside.”

While someone else said: “Good for Nigel Farage but as for GMB it needs to stick to light entertainment.”

And a fifth added: “Awful interview! Why give this man air time? I didn’t think I would ever say this but where is Piers?”

However, some viewers did seem to agree with what Nigel was saying, proving he’s just as polarising as ever.
