Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has given a health update on Simon Cowell and it appears that the music mogul will be back on our screens very soon.
Amanda, 49, appeared on This Morning on Friday to chat to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford about her new single Home For Christmas but conversation quickly turned to Mr Cowell.
The Heart FM presenter dished the dirt on her boss as she teased the first-ever Britain’s Got Talent Christmas special, which will air on ITV on December 25.
She explained: “All of us judges are performing as well as past BGT winners.
“There’s going to be no competition, just loads of fun. It will be a wonderful Christmas present.
“After you’ve drunk too much Sherry, you can undo your trousers and sit back and enjoy.”
Eamonn, 60, quizzed Amanda on whether or not her pal Simon, 61, will be back on the show in the near future.
“Simon [Cowell] may make an appearance, he may not,” she teased.

“I have spoken to him in the last three weeks.
“I’ve heard from the horse’s mouth that he’s well, fighting fit and can’t wait to get started.
“He’ll be back in January when we start the auditions for the new series.”
Simon is recovering following his horror biking accident in America earlier this year.
The father of one was rushed to hospital in August after suffering severe injuries after he was thrown from his electric bike while taking it out for its first spin in Malibu.
Simon was forced to miss the live shows of the latest series of Britain’s Got Talent and was replaced by former show winner and Diversity leader Ashley Banjo.
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am
