YouTube star Grace Victory has been placed in an induced coma after giving birth to a baby boy to “help her body rest” as she battles coronavirus.
Grace, who discusses beauty and body image on her YouTube channel, first fell ill with Covid-19 two weeks ago when she was pregnant with her first child.
The social media star, 30, developed mild symptoms but later started to deteriorate.
Although her son was not due until February, worried doctors decided to deliver the baby early because she was “too unwell” to continue with the pregnancy.
Her baby, who she shares with her boyfriend Lee, was born on Christmas Eve and Grace was admitted to intensive care a day later where she was put in a coma.

In a statement posted on Grace’s Instagram page, her family gave her fans information about her health battle.
It read: “As you guys know, Grace gave birth on Christmas Eve to a beautiful baby boy, who is currently doing so well, he’s incredible.
“We love him so much. Grace developed Covid-19 two weeks ago and although her symptoms were mild at first, they worsened as the days went on.
“Which meant they had to deliver the baby as soon as possible, as she was just too unwell to carry on with the pregnancy.
“Grace was admitted into intensive care on Christmas Day due to issues with her breathing therefore they had to make the decision of placing her into an induced coma, to give her body the rest it needs, in order to recover.”

The statement added Grace is “currently stable” and asked fans to keep her in their prayers.
It read: “We love her so, so much and we know she’ll come out of this stronger than ever.
“She has dedicated her whole career to healing people, we now ask that you pray, to heal her.”
Grace’s famous fans rushed to the comment section to send their well wishes to the star.

Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock wrote: “Sending you so much love to you all,” while Geordie Shore’s Holly Hagan shared another message of support.
Two weeks ago Grace took to YouTube to tell her fans she had been admitted to hospital after falling ill.
She told how she was released after doctors ran tests and discovered she was dehydrated and on the verge of getting anemia.
Grace, who writes a column in the mental health magazine Happiful, updated her followers about the birth of her son before she was placed in a coma.
She wrote on Twitter: “We’re parents it’s been a wild week but this morning baby boy arrived and is our little Christmas miracle.
“We are all doing so well and I am f*****g in love.”
She followed that up with a post where she declared she wanted to marry Lee.
She added: “When baby was being born Lee sang ‘the first time I saw your face’ and that is why I need to marry him.”
