ITV2 hit programme Love Island is on the hunt for a number of single hopefuls who are looking to find love.
The application process is well underway, with the shows bosses kicking off the talent scouting process to find this years reality star potentials.
As soon as the New Year began, the search for this year’s singletons started (Friday 1 January), urging “vibrant” contestants to throw their hats into the ring.
Those over the age of 18 and wanting to get involved will have just five months to consider entering as the window of opportunity will close on 30 April.

The TV channel detailed: “ITV2 are looking for vibrant singles from across the UK who are searching for love!
“Our Islanders spend time in a luxury villa in the hope of finding love, but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow Islanders, who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island.
“If you think you’ve got what it takes, then we want to hear from you!”

There wasn’t a definition provided for “what it takes” but if you’re a fan of the show you’ll understand rippling abs , a bikini body to die and a sparkling personality are almost certainly a must.
Those who boast a huge Instagram fanbase prior to appearing on the show, like former star of the Molly Mae Hague, who boast also tend to fair better in the process.
The other thing to note is that fans enjoy watching contestants who just love the drama, so whether it be coupling up with others behind closed doors or getting involved in a heated debate – the shows producers would love to hear from you.

To be an eligible applicant, you will need to ensure that your diary is completely free for 10 consecutive weeks – like we’ve seen in the past others have given up their chosen careers in a bid to find love and fame on the programme.
If this all sounds appetising, then all you have to do is submit headshot and full mirror length picture along with an explanatory clip to relay why you would make such a a great islander.
Those hoping to undergo the process will need to be mindful that hardly any hopefuls actually make it through the application process – with only six being successful for the process last time round.
The bulk of candidates were established by the programmes casting team said ITV’s CEO Dame Carolyn McCall.
Carolyn told Digital Spy previously: “On series five of Love Island to date, there have been 36 contributors.
“Twenty-four were found and cast by the programme’s casting team, six were put forward by professional agents and six came through the general application process.”
Love Island was forced to take a rest last summer as the coronavirus pandemic forced television production to stop across the world.
The application for Love Island 2021 is open now and we can’t wait for it to hopefully return to our screens.
