Emmerdale's Charley Webb jokes her sons are 'feral' as she talks home-schooling

Emmerdale star Charley Webb has joked that her three sons are “feral” while discussing being locked down with her little lads and husband Matthew Wolfenden.

The mum-of-three spoke to Brenda Edwards, Jane Moore, Janet Street Porter and Gloria Hunniford on Loose Women on Wednesday.

And while her Emmerdale character Debbie has a very busy life, it seems Charley’s real life isn’t any less hectic.

The 32-year-old said on Loose Women: “The home-schooling is another story. I find it so stressful.

“But three boys in lockdown… it’s chaos, absolute chaos.

“My kids are quite feral as well, they’re not these quiet little boys that will sit and play with trains, they’re feral.”

Charley is married to her Emmerdale co-star Matthew Wolfenden, 40, and together they have three sons – Buster, Bowie and Ace.

And while she’s happily loved up with Matthew, who plays David Metcalfe, Charley’s on-screen romance is far from perfect.

That’s because her character Debbie Dingle was revealed as Al Chapman’s (Michael Wildman) mystery other woman over Christmas.

Viewers will know that Al is engaged to Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade) and many are hoping that Debbie and Priya will team up for some revenge on him.

Charley said: “Debbie’s quite a strong character, she doesn’t let things go.

“Priya’s more laid back, but her fiancé is cheating on her, they’re about to get married.

“So I think we could see some fireworks.”

She teased: “There’s so much going on and then it just explodes.”

This week on Emmerdale, Debbie has been dealing with much more than just her sticky situation with Al.

Her daughter Sarah has been getting involved with bad lad Danny again, who has been offering her drugs.

Sarah admits to Debbie that she’s been struggling because Debbie has been away, leaving her feeling guilty.

But could Sarah soon be dealing with her own guilty of police get involved because of the drugs?

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV
