Heartbreak High's Scott Major unrecognisable with long beard 30 years after show

Heartbreak High and Neighbours star Scott Major sent his fans into meltdown as he looks totally different thirty years after appearing in the Aussie teen drama as school bully Peter Rivers.

Scott, 45, has resurfaced on social media as he has been using app Cameo to flog video messages to his fans, and he has certainly changed over the last 30 years.

On the show, Scott was known for his shiny shoulder-length dark hair, which was swept back from his face, but he has since chopped them off and is rocking a much shorter style.

In his videos, his short crop is hidden under a baseball cap as the teen heartthrob rocked a long greying beard after ditching his designer stubble.

Scott spoke about the show in one of his videos as he discussed talking to bosses about how much he’d like to be on the reboot of the iconic drama.

He said: “I would like to be part of the reboot.

“In fact, I’ve contacted the producers. I’ve contacted the production company, I’ve contacted the CEO. I’ve basically said I will do anything.”

Scott added: “But maybe they don’t want me? Maybe I’m not talented enough? Maybe my time at Heartbreak High is finished.

“I hope not because I’d really like to be part of it. I’d really love to be Rivers again or just in front of a camera or something, I don’t know.

‘I’m so happy they’re making it again and I hope that it captures the essence the original one captured.”

The star also opened up about getting older as he took a look back at his iconic 90s role as Peter, saying: “As Rivers I was cool and hip and I used to wear flannels with one arm and a hat with no peak.

“I guess I’m getting older – not that you’d notice because I don’t look much older.”

Scott went on to star in Neighbours after saying goodbye to the show, and even directed some episodes for the long-running Erinsborough soap.

However, the actor was left gutted as he was axed from the show after playing Lucas Fitzgerald for five years, admitting that the news came as a “rude shock” to him.

He told the Daily Telegraph at the time: “It was like being in a relationship with someone who you’re happy with and want to spend the rest of your life with, and then having them say, ‘Sorry, I don’t want you anymore’.”

Heartbreak High was on air from 1994 to 1999, airing seven seasons about the students growing up in Sydney.
