Former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has left fans scratching their heads after sharing an adorable snap of her daughter Emily and one-year-old grandson Teddy.
The 44-year-old, best known for playing Michelle Connor in the ITV soap for 13 years, logged into her Instagram account on Monday to share a photograph of Emily, 24, and little Teddy.
Kym’s recent social media update caused a stir amongst her 465,000 followers who were convinced that it was her in the snap and not her daughter.
The mother and son duo can be seen in the picture wearing matching tracksuits.
Kym captioned the sweet snap: “I LOVE this pic of my beautiful daughter @emilieecunliffe.x and my gorgeous grandson Teddy!! So cute in their matching @thecouture_club tracksuits!!

“These two are best mates, it’s amazing to see the fun they have together! Fab mummy!!”
While many fan rushed to compliment the photographs, others were forced to rub their eyes and do a double-take.
One fan penned: “Thought it was you Kim.”
Another added: “Aaww Kim she’s your double, beautiful x”
While a third person posted: “I thought it was you. Lovely pic xxx.”

A fourth follower said: “Your daughter looks just like you! Beautiful pic.”
Earlier this month, Kym was forced to pull out of her return to host Morning Live as she recovered from a hernia operation.
The former Hear’Say band member was replaced by Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse after being forced to delay her comeback.
Admitting her recovery has taken longer than expected, Kym appeared on the BBC One show from home on February 1.

She told her co-host Gethin Jones: “I am really surprised. There was more to it than we originally thought.
“I am someone who likes to get up and about and do things for myself.
“It’s really difficult having to sit and do nothing, it’s horrendous.”
She added: “One of the problems of having a hernia is it’s really restrictive and stops you doing exercise you want to do. This is just killing me now.
“But I am listening to my body, you have to, it’s important. I’ll be there soon.”
Kym revealed to her fans last year that she had a hiatus hernia.
The soap star said the condition was causing her agony and extreme heartburn and had stopped her from giving it 100 per cent in her gym work-outs.
Morning Live launched in October 2020, filling the slot after BBC Breakfast.
