Strictly Come Dancing star Karen Hauer has spoken candidly about the breakdown of her marriage to Kevin Clifton.
The 38-year-old beauty tied the knot with fellow dancer Kevin, 38, in 2015 but their relationship came to an end in 2018.
She revealed that the pair split because she became jealous and now wishes that she fought for their marriage.
Speaking on The Divorce Club Podcast with Samantha Baines, Karen explained: “I was getting jealous because I wasn’t getting the attention I wanted from my husband.”
“Obviously, other things happen, there are other factors that happened, that really hurt us both.

“But I thought… I would have never let go of it. I wouldn’t have never, never let go of it.”
“I would have liked to have fought for it. It took me a year after we separated to actually let go of him.”
Kevin and Karen both continued to work on the BBC dancing show after their split.
The Venezuelan born dancer was forced to watch her ex-husband begin his relationship with now girlfriend Stacey Dooley, 33, who he was paired with in 2019.

Kevin has since left the show but Karen remains a firm fixture on the popular reality show.
Karen added: “It took me a long time to cut the umbilical cord that I had connected to him.
“Because it was connected for such a long time and at a completely different level than my first marriage, because this marriage was what I was always looking for. But I learned a lot.

“I had to work with him for two, three years after we got separated and it was hard because you can see how much love you have for one another, and the respect.”
Karen is currently single following her break-up from opera singer Dating Webb last year.
She was previously married to former dance partner Matthew Hauer.
The Latin dance specialist and World Mambo Champion has also featured on American TV series So You Think You Can Do.
She auditioned for the sixth season of the US dance show in 2009 with her then husband Matthew.
However, Matthew was eliminated during Vegas week and Karen moved on t the top 20.
She joined the cast of Strictly Come Dancing for series 10 partnering Westlife’s Nicky. Byrne.
Karen is yet to lift the prestigious glitterball trophy but she came close close last year with Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing.
