Gemma Collins risks backlash by 'selling fillers and fat-dissolving injections'

TOWIE legend Gemma Collins is reportedly set to launch her own range of fat-dissolving injections.

The Essex star, who has turned herself into a one woman brand on the back of the hit ITV show, is said to be keen to cash in on the rising beauty market.

But rather than following the likes of Kylie Jenner and bring out a lip kit or eyeshadow pallet, the starlet wants to invest in injectables.

A source claimed: “Gemma is a very astute businesswoman with a huge following.

“She knows that fans trust her name and she is now researching the beauty treatment market and hopes to bring out a range of her own collagen fillers, fat dissolving injections and facial peels.”

The insider added to The Sun: “Gemma wants to be a big name in the world of anti-ageing.”

A rep for Gemma Collins declined to comment on the claims.

Since first appearing on TOWIE, Gemma has built up an empire worth over £4.1 million.

The blonde told Piers Morgan during her recent Life Stories interview that she is so bad with money that she has been forced to give her father full control of her bank accounts.

In return the concerned parent gives Gemma an allowance.

While the tabloid regular is still living the high life, it means that she’s not blowing thousands of pounds on things she doesn’t need.

Over the past 12 months Gemma has been on a mission to revamp her image.

The outspoken diva has shed over three stone and openly turned to non surgical enhancements to give her a youthful look.

Coming clean about cosmetic enhancements, Gemma said: “Yes my face has changed a bit but for the better.

“I’ve lost weight. I’m feeling good, I’ve got time to look after myself.

“I’ve had lots of treatments at the London Aesthetics company. And I feel brand new.”

She added to fans via social media: “I just wanted to show you that this is me, this is how I look.

“There’s been a few comments recently about filters but I have been having amazing face treatments done.”

Gemma’s plant to bring out fat dissolving injections risks backlash from fans after she ruffled feathers by fronting SkinnyJab.

The £250 injection claims to encourage weight loss but has been contested by many.

The official website for the brand claims that each injection “removes hunger from the equation”.

It adds that they “regulates blood glucose levels that allows the body to turn stored fat into energy”.
