Caroline Flack's twin 'begged her' to ditch showbiz before her tragic death

Caroline Flack’s twin revealed that she had “begged her” to flee her showbiz life over fears her job was weighing down on her mental health.

Jody, 40, alongside Caroline’s beloved family, have agreed to feature on a new TV show, titled Caroline Flack: Her Life And Death which aims to uncover what was really going on behind closed doors.

The legendary TV host’s loved ones have gathered together to speak about the problematic life Caroline lead and the struggles she had faced on the lead up to her death.

In the Channel 4 documentary, Jody explains that she had pleaded with her sister to walk away from the spotlight prior to her twin taking her own life last year.

It was claimed that the starlet had been overcome with worry that her battle with mental health would be uncovered.

Jody revealed to The Mail Online: “I would beg her to change jobs and leave showbiz but she never would, life would have been easier but she wasn’t built for an easy life.

“She was always scared she’d be ridiculed, she was terrified to admit her mental health struggles.”

While Caroline’s mother Christine will delve into her daughters former flames detailing that the X Factor star “found heartbreak impossible”.

Christine also brings to light how Caroline had been badly affected by a romance breakdown in her teens after she’d fallen for a fairground worker, with the romance ending in tears.

Knowing what was in store for the young lovers the family joked about the new love, nicknaming him “Waltzer boy”.

The 70-year-old said: “She ran away from home as a teenager after falling for a man who worked at a fair, it broke her heart.”

According to her mum, the troubled star would also “regularly change doctors so no nobody would know the full extent of her problems.”

Ahead of the release of the documentary, Caroline’s family shared a number of heart warming images in remembrance and tribute of their loved one, showcasing the ITV beauty as blossoming teenager in a number of snaps.

Having scanned through the archives to discover old images while discussing the extent of Caroline’s secret issues, the family explained being part of the show had acted like “therapy”.

In a trailer clip for the programme a tearful Christine adds: “She was my little girl, it doesn’t actually seem real.”
