Good Morning Britain weatherman Alex Beresford has warned we must ‘listen to the experiences of all people’ in relation to Meghan Markle ‘s explosive race claims to Oprah Winfrey.
The Duchess of Sussex stunned the world after she claimed on US TV that a senior royal expressed ‘concern’ about the colour her baby would be ahead of his birth.
While Meghan wasn’t present when the alleged comment was made, she says that Prince Harry was.
Prince Harry refused to give Oprah any more context to the claim, nor would he say who behind the palace walls made it.
Alex and Piers Morgan locked horns during Tuesday’s edition of GMB – ending with Piers storming off set.
He argued that he didn’t believe a word Meghan said throughout her interview and that more context was needed in relation to the alleged comment.
Piers quit GMB on Tuesday evening after refusing to apologise for his comments on air after being asked by ITV bosses.

Now Alex has now delved further the situation and spoken to the first black female Lord Lieutenant who work for The Queen.
Sharing a link to his interview, Alex wrote: “I sat down over Zoom and spoke to the Queen’s representative for Bristol and first black female Lord Lieutenant about the fallout from the Harry and Meghan interview who told me she’s always been treated with the upmost respect.”

He added: “It’s important we listen to the experiences of people, all people.
“We must recognise that the experiences of staff, friends and family will differ based on access.
“Put it this way… going to a football game can be very different to being in the changing room.”
Alex’s comments come as it was confirmed that Meghan made an official complaint to Ofcom on top of her complaint to the CEO of ITV.
An Ofcom spokesperson said: “We can confirm receipt of a standards complaint made on behalf of the Duchess of Sussex.”
Sticking to his guns, Piers posted on Instagram on Wednesday morning: “On Monday, I said I didn’t believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview. I’ve had time to reflect on this opinion, and I still don’t. If you did, that’s OK.
“Freedom of speech is a hill I’m happy to die on. Thanks for all the love, and hate. I’m off to spend more time with my opinions.
