Katie Price admits to using filters and Facetune to transform her looks online

Celebs don’t always admit to adding filters to their pics but Katie Price has now revealed that she does filter her Instagram images as she accepts that her photos look “nothing like her”.

The former glamour model said she has previously used face-tuning apps to alter her appearance on social media.

Speaking openly on her Youtube Channel, Katie explained: “I’ve just done a subject talking about young girls with filters and I said, ‘Well yeah I do use filters, I do use a bit of face tune.”

The mother of five then held her phone close to her face and asked whether she looked like the photo on her Instagram page.

She said: “Just like that, do I look like that? Clearly not.”

Fans recently compared Katie’s look to reality star Khloe Kardashian after she posted a pic of herself and partner Carl Woods on her Instagram.

Many couldn’t help but compare Katie to the Kardashian sister, whilst others thought she looked completely unrecognisable.

One fan said: “Who is the woman in the pic!”

Another said: “Amazing what filters can do.”

Whilst another went even further and said: “Khloe is that you?”

Last week Katie spoke openly about young girls using filters and altering their pictures on Steph’s Packed Lunch and informed viewers that nine out of ten teen girls had edited their pictures before posting them on social media.

Katie went on to discuss her daughters Princess, 13 and Bunny, six, and whether they are affected by the use of filters.

Katie said: “Princess is obsessed with filters.

“You know when they get the heart ones, she gets the dogs ones on with the ears. Bunny does the same.

“Princess knows because she’s been brought up with me, that what you see on these Instagram aren’t real.”

She continued: “We all joke because I have a lot of hair and make-up people, they do most of the hair and make-up on these girls.

“They’re so catfished – they look nothing like it, you can take your waist in, you can make yourself look gorgeous. It isn’t real, it’s like a cartoon.”
