Eamonn Holmes 'can't get pain to go away' as he shares post from physio table

This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes has given fans an update on how he’s currently coping with his “chronic pain”, after he tweeted an image of himself on a physio table this morning.

The 61-year old expressed that he has been suffering from a health issue since he had his double hip replacement five years ago.

The presenter underwent a double hip operation in 2016 after struggling with debilitating pain for 25 years in his hips, back and legs.

Since having the operation, Eamonn has opened up to fans about his discomfort and says that the pain gets “worse” during the night.

On Friday, Holmes took to Twitter to discuss his concerns with a fan who explained that they also experienced joint pain.

Eamonn wrote: “In that Twilight Zone between Nighttime and Morning”

He added: ”Anyone else find these Hours the worst…. particularly if you suffer Chronic pain?”

One fan replied: “I have no idea, but it’s truly awful, isn’t it! So annoying that the time you’re meant to be resting and sleeping the pain is at its worse, so you’re unable to. How on earth does that work?”
