Eva Longoria is feeling impatient – the Hollywood actress is already trying on her swimsuits in anticipation of “bathing suit season”.
The Desperate Housewives star, 46, lapped up the sunshine in Beverly Hills this week, modelling a cossie designed by Melissa Odabash.
Odabash, who launched her namesake label after working as a swimwear model, has dressed the likes of Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, Elle Macpherson and Rhianna in her wares.
Making the most of the LA heat, Eva worked a candy pink swimsuit from the spring-summer collection, complete with string straps and a straight neckline.
Gold loops embellished the straps, which Eva coordinated with a matching metallic chain necklace.
Wearing zero makeup, the mum-of-one scraped her hair back in a messy ponytail, as she climbed on top of a teal day-bed for an Insta shot.
Standing beneath an archway, an azure stretch of blue water could be seen in the background.
Her abs – which are the result of a combination of running, yoga and pilates – were visible as she tilted her body to the sunshine.
Eva’s caption hinted she was looking forward to the warmer months ahead, as she wondered: “Is it bathing suit season yet?”
The actress, who is originally from Texas, married Mexican businessman José Antonio “Pepe” Bastón Patiño in 2017, wearing a gown designed by her best friend Victoria Beckham.
They moved to the wealthy Los Angeles postcode the following year, settling in a sprawling Beverly Hills pad with their only child, son Santiago “Santi” Enrique Bastón, two.
Having received Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for her role as Gabrielle Solis on Desperate Housewives, Eva quickly became one of the biggest stars of the noughties.
More recently, she worked behind the camera as the executive producer on the hit Lifetime series Devious Maids.
Having devoted herself to philanthropy and earned an MA in Chicano Studies while filming Desperate Housewives, Eva’s career has been nothing if not varied.

That said, her role as Gabrielle was career-defining, turning her into a household name.
After filming on Desperate Housewives wrapped, she actively decided to make a move away from acting, turning her attention to alternative pursuits.
“I needed people to forget me as Gaby Solis,” she told Good Housekeeping in 2014.
“I [stopped] acting on purpose. I wanted to be behind the camera, and I also wanted to travel and take time off.”
