Declan Donnelly was left red-faced after his dog Rocky forced him to temporarily leave a Lorraine interview this morning.
The TV star and his partner in crime Ant McPartlin were being interviewed live by Lorraine Kelly.
But midway through chatting about Ant and Dec’s search for future TV stars, Dec was forced to apologise after Rocky started barking loudly.
“I can hear your wee dog,” noticed Lorraine, as the barking got louder.
“Sorry, that’s Rocky,” apologised Dec, before adding. “There’s somebody at the door!”
The trio were left in fits of giggles before Lorraine attempted to smooth over the unusual disturbance by saying: “Oh, listen, [my dog] Angus does that all the time.”
But then Dec surprisingly leapt from his sofa and admitted: “I’m going to let him out.”
The presenter dashes out of his lounge and leaves Ant to conduct the interview on his own.
Ant joked: “Bye Dec!”, while comically waving goodbye to his best buddy.
“It’s fine,” added Lorraine. “Thanks for that.”
The unusual incident was all taken in good humour as the presenting heavyweights had a laugh at the canine’s antics.
And Lorraine, ever the professional, carried on interviewing Ant while Dec was momentarily out of the picture.

Dec, 45, eventually returned to finish his interview with Ant, also 45, to conclude finish talking about their exciting new project with Prince Charles.
And the humour wasn’t lost on Twitter followers who had tuned in to watch TV’s golden duo chat to Lorraine about some of their fun new project.
“Not Dec’s dog, Rocky, interrupting their interview on Lorraine @antanddec @lorraine #lorraine,” tweeted one fan.
“Ant and Dec radiate so much positivity and just put such a smile on my face. So lovely to see them on #Lorraine,” gushed another.
Dec’s unfortunate dog faux pas comes little over a month after his £5million home was targeted by a gang of professional burglars.
Dec, his wife Ali and his young daughter Isla were all asleep upstairs when the home’s fortress-like security thwarted the robbers, who quickly exited the scene.
Police rushed to Dec’s house at around 1am in the morning after receiving a 999 emergency call.
The raiders reportedly tried to rip open iron gates to try and gain access to Dec’s luxury seven-bedroom abode.
