Mark Wahlberg looks completely different on the set of his new film, Father Stu.
The 49-year-old has reportedly put on 20lbs in three weeks in order to play the role of the boxer-turned-priest.
It’s part of his plan to gain 30lbs in just six weeks as he gets into character for the main role.
In photos seen of the star on-set, he’s sporting a shaved head, whilst wearing a green polo top.
He was smiling away whilst filming and in later snaps, he’d added a patterned jumper over his existing outfit.
Earlier this week, Mark shared a snap of his transformation on his Instagram page to his 16.5 million followers

Captioning the snap “new look,” Mark could be seen with his shaved head in full view.
Mark has been indulging in a high calorie diet in order to get into character for the new role.
The Hollywood actor is known for usually hitting the gym and keeping in great shape but he’s instead been documenting his weight gain on Instagram.

In another recent post, he thanked his personal chef Laurence Duran on the social media site showing off his toned physique alongside a bigger frame.
It comes after Laurence spoke to E! Online about the sort of food Mark has been tucking into in recent weeks.
The actor is being tasked with eating 7,000 calories per day to bulk up for his role.
He said: “His first breakfast is four eggs—that’s the pre-breakfast.

“Then, he does his workout and then after the workout, which is usually around 5 to 6 o’clock in the morning, we do eight eggs, six strips of bacon, a cup of rice, two tablespoons of olive oil and a protein shake.
“It’s his protein-inspired mass weight-gainer to help build on a little more muscle as well.
He went on to add: “Then, three hours later, we do some kind of ground beef or ground turkey, whether it’s been made into a hamburger patty or a meatloaf, with another cup of rice.
“And then, three hours later, I usually do half of a roasted chicken, another cup of rice, I’ll do about a cup of cooked spinach and a cup of cooked beets as well.”
Mark’s insane diet doesn’t stop there, as he also gets to eat other delicacies such as a “night-cap” blended with food such as almond butter and oatmeal to operate as a “mass gainer to put on weight during his sleep.”
He had previously revealed he was advised to try and gain weight healthily but it didn’t seem to fit in with Mark’s own plans.
