Fans of the popular reality TV show, which returns on Monday night, will remember Kem Cetinay, 25, from season three of Love Island back in 2017.
The much-loved former contestant was coupled up with Welsh beauty Amber Davies in the villa before they eventually went on to win the show.
And the duo had their fair share of passionate moments caught on camera whilst they appeared on the programme.
But despite Kem’s glowing CV of TV credentials ever since he left the show, he’s now explained why he’s not so sure he should have had as much sex as he did on the show.
Kem told The Sun: “Now I’ve got a business and I’ve got staff, and if new recruits search for me, some of the first articles that come up will be about me having sex on TV.
“But you’ve got to remember, I was 21! I wasn’t who I am now.
“So I don’t feel embarrassed about it because it is what it is, it happened.”
He went on to admit: “Maybe I shouldn’t have had as much sex as I did – maybe once or twice would have been enough.
“Not as regular! But I loved the whole experience.”
Kem and Amber went their separate ways back in December 2017 but both have gone on to remain in the public eye.
Kem has been seen on Dancing on Ice as their backstage presenter in recent years after his stint as a competitor on the programme in 2018.
Meanwhile, Amber has gone back to her stage routes, appearing in 9 to 5 The Musical alongside Brian Conley and Louise Redknapp.

It comes after it was announced earlier this week Kem would be coupling up with another former Love Island winner for a brand-new show.
He will be joined by 2019 winner Amber Gill, 23, for an ITV2 series all about mental health.
The programme – titled The Full Treatment- sees them join forces in association with CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).
The pair will give people makeovers whilst discussing their mental health in a bid to raise awareness on the issue.
Former Islanders Sophie Gradon and Mike Thalassitis both died by suicide with the show’s host Caroline Flack also taking her own life last year.
The show has promised it has improved its aftercare policy and recently outlined the extra measures it had in place for contestants.
In a statement released earlier this week, the show vowed to help Islanders in everything from managing the impacts of social media and handling potential negativity to financial management and comprehensive psychological support.
