Danielle Lloyd has revealed that she is expecting a baby girl, after her and her husband Michael O’Neill have welcomed four boys.
The 37 year old model and presenter claimed to use The Babydust Method to conceive her fifth child and only daughter, after explaining that “four boys is hard work”.
She and Michael already have three year old son Ronnie, and she shares Archie, Harry and George with ex-husband Jamie O’Hara.
Desperate for a girl, Danielle has previously spoken about plans to travel overseas for sex selection – but covid-related travel restrictions forced her to try for a daughter naturally here in the UK.
What is the Babydust Method?
The Babydust Method is described as “a guide to conceiving a girl or a boy”, by Kathryn Taylor, who created the method in order to pre-plan the birth of her son and daughter in 2012 and 2014 respectively.
Danielle explained in an exclusive with OK! magazine, that she followed Taylor’s advice to the letter, ““I tried it previously and I got pregnant but I had a miscarriage. So this time I was trying for a few months and nothing happened.
“I had come to terms with the fact that we weren’t going to try any more and then two or three days later I found out I was pregnant,” she continued.
A psychic then told Danielle that she would have a little girl – which thrilled her no end.
How does the Babydust Method work?
The method was developed by Kathryn Taylor who has a degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from the University of California.
Since her conception of the method, she has gone on to create a six-figure baby business thorough the release of four books and ovulation strips.
The method is said to have a 94% success rate and it is based around principles of timing and frequency of intercourse to naturally encourage the chances of a boy or a girl.
Once ovulation has been recognised using the strips, couples are encouraged to have intercourse – once for a girl and twice for a boy.
Those hoping for a boy are told to have sex at specific times during ovulation.
On the Facebook group created for the method, Kathryn states: “I have to mention, I am not a doctor, and I cannot guarantee you’ll conceive the sex of your choice. All I can do is help you better understand how to implement the method, and give you encouragement along the way.”
