Kanye West staying in room with no window and single bed until he finishes album

Kanye West is staying inside Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz stadium until he finished work on his tenth album Donda,

The 44-year-old rapper has now given fans a look inside the room he is hunkering down in, and it’s a far cry from the luxurious suites he is used to.

The locker room has grey walls and floor, with no window, and is equipped with a basic open wardrobe and shelf, a television mounted on the wall, and a single bed with a white duvet and just one flat pillow.

It looks as though Kanye is living out of his suitcase, as an open case can be seen resting against the wardrobe while a few pairs of his signature Yeezy trainers are in the corner next to some weights for working out.

So consumed is Kanye by minimising distractions, the artist has even taped over the minutes on the digital clock mounted on the wall.

The photo was a hit among fans on social media as they joked about his living situation.

One person commented: “Kanye making one of the most anticipated albums of all time in a college dorm”, while another quipped: “This is every divorced dad’s new apartment one week in.”

Others were taken aback by the evidence Kanye was actually staying in the stadium and pointed out the lack of windows in the bedroom.

However, the majority of fans took the dedication to mean that Donda could be some of Kanye’s best work yet.

One comment read: “How the best things are done. No distractions”, while another said: “Nice living quarters goat…. Looking forward to album of the century.”

Donda is named after Kanye’s late mother who died in 2007 age 58 due to complications from cosmetic surgery.

Kanye hosted a listening party at the Mercedes Benz Stadium on Thursday night, with fans expecting the album to drop at midnight.

However they were left disappointed when the album failed to materialise and is now expected to be released on August 6.

The album addresses Kanye’s high-profile split from his wife of seven years, Kim Kardashian.

In one song, Love Unconditionally, Kanye sings about “losing my family” and the track opens with the voice of Kanye’s late mother offering words of advice on love and marriage.

Kanye then raps: “She’s screaming at me / Honey, why could you leave? Darling, how could you leave? / Come back tonight, baby / Come back tonight, darling, please / Darling, how could you leave?”
