Coronation Street’s Verity Henry has taken to social media to reveal to her fans and followers that she’s pregnant with her second baby.
The announcement comes just weeks after making her return to Corrie as character Rachel Healy, who is a former human trafficker.
Verity took to Instagram to notify her fans of the wonderful news, as she showed off her baby bump in a sweet photo.
Verity was stood in the sea, with water up to her thighs as she wore a red bathing suit, with her bump on show.
She captioned the post: “Preggers. It hasn’t been an easy journey; so aware it isn’t for so many people.

“New humans, worra thing eh? Photo taken by the v talented @lovetocraftmcr.”
Fans and friends flocked to the comments section to wish her well.
One fan said: “So happy for you! Congratulations xx”
Another penned: “I’m SO happy for you!!!!”
A third wrote: “OMG! Congratulations you beautiful thing! What lovely news,” while a fourth said: “Wonderful news my friend – sending a big preggy hug.”

Verity had been part of the gripping 2019 storyline in Corrie that saw her character being revealed as a human trafficker.
Alina Pop, played by Ruxandra Porojnicu, was the victim of Verity’s character, Rachel after being brought over from Romania to work illegally at a nail bar.
Verity made her exit from the show as she shot Eileen Grimshaw’s partner Jan Lozinski and left him for dead on the cobbled street.

On her final day of filming on the cobbles when the trafficking storyline concluded, Verity took to Instagram to share a snap, with a caption that read: “Btw…..C’yer cobbles! End of Nasty Rachel!…who always has a big pleather sausage sticking out her ribs.”
Corrie airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV.
