Sharon Osbourne is convinced the Loch Ness Monster is real – despite husband Ozzy reckoning she is barmy.
The former X Factor judge, 68, said: “I am telling you, there was a Loch Ness monster. They scientifically proved that these things lived up to 300 years old.
“They could have kept breeding and breeding a long f*ing line. I am not saying there was just one.”
But unimpressed Ozzy shut down his wife: “No, no, they have been dead and gone for a million years.”
Sharon bit back: “I just think in lochs and the ocean there is so much that has yet to be discovered because it is under-researched.”
The dispute erupted on their show The Osbournes Want To Believe as they watched footage of Ogopogo, Canada’s version of Nessie.
Last year there were many sightings of the giant serpent-like beast, said to dwell in the enormous Lake Okanagan in British Columbia.
But doubting Ozzy said: “It was probably a log or old tree stump bouncing around.”
Asked by host son Jack if they think Ogopogo, known as Oggy, is real, Sharon said: “Yes. I am a believer in the Oggy Poggy.”
But Ozzy said: “No. He sounds like a dyslexic pogo stick.”
Later in the show the pair argued over whether the US Moon landings in 1969 were real.

Ozzy laughed at conspiracy theorists claiming Stanley Kubrick directed the TV Moon landings: “It was a load of old b***ks.”
Ozzy added: “I can see why people think that, but I think they went. What is the point of going to the Moon if they didn’t f***ing walk on it? It is impossible to keep that secret.”
Sharon met Ozzy at the age of 18, and started dating him after he was sacked from Black Sabbath in 1979.
The pair tied the knot in Maui, Hawaii, on 4 July 1982, and they share three children: Kelly, Aimee and Jack.
